Introduction

One direction is a teenage boy band consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and last but not least Louis Tomlinson. One direction is really very popular amongst teenage girls (like me) these days. One direction or 1D for short has released two albums named ‘’Up All Night’’ and ‘’Take Me Home,’’ Their achievements consist of two BRIT Awards and three MTV Video Music Awards (wow I know right) they started their career in 2010 and are still active (I hope they remain active forever)  I have never met a teenage girl who is not a fan of one direction. Now there statues are even in madame tussauds (soo cool I know) . Girls today (including me) even scream when someone takes their name (epppp)

How did they become a band

All five boys auditioned solo in the seventh season of the great TV series called the ‘’XFACTOR’’ (of UK) but they failed to  go further so a guest judge named Nicole Scherzinger advised that they all should be put together in a boy band and the advise was carried and they became a five piece boy band.
As a result they qualified as a group in the ‘’XFACTOR’’ And Harry was the one who came up with this amazing name ‘’one direction’’ their very first song as a group was ‘’torn’’ actually the acoustic version of ‘’torn’’
Their first album (up all night) was released in 2011 and their second album (take me home) in 2012
One direction sings all kind of pop songs ‘’teen pop, dance-pop, pop rock, and power pop’’ (isn’t that amazing..there is no chance that you don’t love 1D)
